An Overview of Some Selected Books of Hadith and Sirah Written in the Regional languages of Balochistan and Urdu

Abstract

The services rendered by the Islamic scholars of Baluchistan in development and propagation of publication of Holy Quran and Sunnah, abnegation of wrongful ideologies and religious thoughts and support of rightful maslak as well as fighting the evils of shirk, bid’at and muhaddisat have always been one of the most favorite chapters for Islamic interpreters. In this research, a precise analysis of the eight books written in Urdu and local languages in Baluchistan has been presented. In addition to this, an overview of each book has been made in such a way to specify their level of research and knowledge. The article aims to highlight the efforts of scholars who lived in Baluchistan and scribed books related to Islam. The conclusion incorporates the main theme of those books.
