JIT Copyright & Privacy Policy
All research papers published in the Journal of Islamic theology are fully opened to access, freely and are available to read, download and share for educational purpose.
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used only for the said purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other third party.
Authors retain publication rights. JIT does not possess any right. However, they have to sign copyright agreement for the fair use of Creative Common License.
Articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons license which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium provided the original work is properly cited.
JIT Publication Ethics
The following ethical guidelines are obligatory for all author(s) who are submitting their manuscripts to Journal of Islamic Theology.
Originality of Paper
- Plagiarism in all its formsestablishes unethical publishing behavior and is not acceptable in any mean.
- Material quoted must be placed in quotation marks.
- More than 19% similarity index has been found in the TURNITIN Similarity index; will either be rejected or left at the decision of the Editorial Board.
Declaration
- A declaration is required that the manuscript contains only author original work that is not under consideration for publishing in any other journal.
- A co-authored paper must be included/added by an undertaking in order to claim the right to authorship and to ensure that all have agreed to the order of authorship.
Acknowledgment of Sources
- A paper must contain a proper acknowledgment of the work of others.
- The author(s) must also acknowledge the contributions ofpeople, organizations, and institutes who assisted the process of research in any form.
- The author(s)should conduct a literature review and cite the original publications.
Multiple Publication Submission
- Authors should not submit the same research paper to more than one journal or publication except if it is a re-submission of a rejected or withdrawn manuscript.
- Concurrent submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal is unethical publishing behavior.
Authorship Credit
- Authorship of the work may only be credited to those who have made a worthy contribution in developing, conceptualization, conducting, of data analysis and writing up of the manuscript.
- The corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors have revised and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.
Privacy of Participants
- Authors should respect the privacy of the participant(s) of the research.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
- The potential conflicts of interest of all author(s) must be conveyed to the editor at the earliest possible stage.
- All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.
Copyright
- Authors may have to sign an agreement for CC-BY.
Manuscript Status
- During the review duration, the author can contact the Editor to ask about its status.
- In case of revisions, the author(s) must provide another modified form of the manuscript and the revised manuscript will be processed further and it will be accepted or rejected accordingly.
- In case of Objection/Non satisfaction over the decision of rejection, the author can appeal the decision by contacting the Editor.

Peer Review Policy:
All research papers published in Journal of Islamic Theology go through initial screening followed by a strict double-blind peer review by three (National & International) anonymous referees, belong to different National and International Universities. Confidentiality is strictly maintained in every step of the process.
